No. Don't switch. If you want an accessible online translator that works, your best option is google translate. To help you, I have composed a small guide to working with google translate with JAWS (you made me turn it on, didn't you?).
First, you have a field, where you type your text or an address to be translated. Above, you have two lists for source and target language. For example, we will assume you are looking at one of my documents in Mandarin Chinese, and you want it in English.
Step 1: Select your input and output. Usually, you can simply let google find out what you were reading; and my Chinese report is no exception. It auto-detects quickly and sets the translation language. English is the default for output, so let's assume you want to read in Korean. To do this, you press enter on the line that says "To: English". JAWS responds by turning on forms mode. If it immediately turns it off, move off the line, move back, and try again. Once saying "forms mode on", it will proceed to list a lot of languages. Your next step is to ignore this and arrow down to Korean. Once you find it, press enter again. JAWS should say "selected". Then, you are done.
Step 2: enter your input. You will need to put in what will be translated. This can be text or a web address where you can get text (allowing you to brouse the international web in another language). You put this in the next box. When you are done, you press enter. The text will be below a few links. The final element before your translated text will be a flash video you don't need to use.
